Everyone always takes part
One player rolls the dice, but everyone can use the roll to tick off numbers on the scorecard. The more you tick off, the more points you get.
Who is Qwixx for?
The game is for 2 to 5 players aged 8 and over, and a game lasts about 15 minutes. This is the Dutch-language edition of White Goblin Games.
A brief overview of the rules of Qwixx
Aim of the game
Tick off as many numbers as possible in the four coloured rows on your scorecard.
How to play
The active player rolls all six dice: two white ones and four coloured ones.
- Anyone may tick off the sum of the two white dice in any row of their choice.
- The active player may then also add a white die and a coloured die together and cross off that total in the row of that colour.
- You always move from left to right. You can skip squares, but you cannot go back.
If the active player does not tick anything, they record a miss.
If you have at least 5 crosses in a row, you may cross out the last number and end the row. That colour is then no longer in play.
End and win
The game ends when someone has made 4 wrong moves or when 2 rows have been completed. The more crosses in a row, the more points. Each wrong move costs 5 points. The player with the highest total score wins.
